Here, young people gain the tools, confidence, and support they need to build a strong foundation for a healthy, independent, and limitless future.
As the first program of its kind on Long Island, Outreach’s Young Adult Residence fills a critical gap in care by offering comprehensive, age-appropriate treatment in a compassionate and empowering environment. Our dedicated team partners closely with each young adult — and their families — to create a personalized plan that reflects their goals, builds resilience, and supports their successful transition into adulthood.

Our experienced and caring staff walk alongside young adults every step of the way, offering an intensive level of care and a wide range of therapeutic, educational, and recreational opportunities. Together, we help them discover their strengths, develop essential skills, and move forward with confidence.
Each young person’s individualized care plan may include:
- Comprehensive substance use and mental health treatment services
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Individual and group therapy focused on coping strategies, life skills, and vocational readiness
- Family counseling and education to strengthen support systems
- Relapse prevention planning and ongoing alumni recovery support

Our state-of-the-art residence was thoughtfully designed to promote healing, build confidence, and support both educational and independent living skills. Features of our residence include:

We offer a wide range of family services that run in parallel with young adults’ treatment and continue even after residential care ends.
