135-hour CASAC Training
Behavioral health professionals with an advanced-level degree can significantly shorten their course time at Outreach Training Institute. Our 135-hour CASAC Training program focuses on sections of the full curriculum that specifically encompass substance use disorder treatment. For qualified students with both industry experience and an eligible Master’s degree, the program translates into significant time and cost savings. The 135-hour program was launched in 2017 for behavioral health clinicians from the following disciplines: social work, mental health counseling, family therapy, creative arts therapy, and psychotherapy/psychoanalysis. The program takes approximately six months to complete and is offered in our Queens and Long Island campuses, as well as our satellite training sites in White Plains and Manhattan.
