Suzanne Soganics, LMSW, CASAC
Suzanne Soganics has been part of the Outreach family for 26 years. She began her career in 1996 as an overnight counselor and moved progressively up the ranks to positions of increased clinical responsibility at Outreach’s outpatient service in Bellport, LI and at Outreach House II, the adolescent residential rehabilitation program in Brentwood, LI.
At Outreach House II, Ms. Soganics initially served as Family Services Coordinator and later as Clinical Coordinator. In October 2019, she was appointed Director of Outreach House II, where she manages staff, programming, and compliance, and oversees daily operations for the 45-bed drug and alcohol treatment program for adolescents.
During her tenure at Outreach, Ms. Soganics attended Suffolk County Community College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling and achieved her CASAC. She then pursued and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from Stony Brook University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She obtained her Master of Social Work with a specialization in children and families at Fordham University as part of an advanced standing enrollment.
Since 2013, Ms. Soganics has also served as a lecturer and student advisor for Outreach Training Institute. With over two decades of experience working with Outreach’s adolescent population and their families, she applies her tremendous clinical and management talents to help our residents and their families, and Outreach’s students, to achieve healthy goals, every day.
