Mary DeGiovine-Robins, MSED

Mary graduated with an MSED and an Advanced Certificate in Rehabilitation Counseling in Mental Health from Hofstra University.

Mary obtained her Mental Health Counselor- Limited Permit, Offenders Workforce Development Specialist (OWDS) and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Certificates and is the Director of Training, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Employment Support for NYS OASAS SUD Treatment Facilities obtaining a Rehabilitation Counselor on site.

Mary also works for a mental health private practice providing Mental Health Counseling. Her relevant experience includes consulting with treatment program professionals on delivering Rehabilitation Counseling and Employment Support, NYS OASAS vocational requirements and reporting, and problem-solving on Rehabilitation Counseling and Employment/Career service issues.

Mary has worked with substance use, physical disabilities, justice-involved, and severely mentally ill individuals at various agencies, including several Non-Profit agencies, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Department of Labor, Suffolk County Department of Health Services and Mental Hygiene, East End Methadone Clinic.

She is an Instructor & Internship/Job Placement Consultant for Outreach Training Institute Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor training program.
