Mark Armiento, LMFT, LMHC, CASAC

For over 35 years, Mark Armiento has been providing training, clinical and consultation services for professionals in the areas of personal development, alcohol and drug misuse, sports performance, organizational management and general health and wellness. He was previously Vice President of Outreach Training Institute for over 15 years and currently serves as its Senior Instructor.

Since 1998, Armiento has served as a sports psychology and counseling consultant for St. John’s University, Niagara University, and Iona College athletics departments. He was also a sports psychology consultant for the Liberian International Athletics Foundation during the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.

Armiento holds advanced certificates in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis, Reiki, Auricular Acupuncture, Trauma Reduction (EMDR), and Transcendental Meditation. Additionally, he performs organizational management consulting for the cities of Ft. Lauderdale, Homestead, and Oakland Park in Florida as well as Bethesda, Maryland.

Armiento is the author of Sleepwalking on a Tightrope and the founder of Life Balance Advantage LLC. He has a private practice in individual, couples and family counseling in Westchester, N.Y.
