Marci Mirisola
Marci Mirisola started working for Outreach in September 2022, as the Senior Project Director of the EQuITY (Enhancing Quality and Integration of Treatment) Grant, a program that allows Outreach to provide enhanced outpatient services to clients ages 16-25, an age group traditionally underserved and overlooked. In 2023, she was promoted to Vice President of Outpatient Services, where she provides managerial and clinical leadership to further staff and programmatic development for all the agency’s Outpatient Services.
Prior to Outreach, Ms. Mirisola worked for Center for Discovery for four years as Program Director at a residential treatment facility for clients with co-occurring eating disorders and mental health diagnoses. She also became Regional Clinical Director supporting multiple locations within the tri-state area.
Ms. Mirisola has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for over 8 years and has over 25 years’ experience assisting children and adults with psychiatric and developmental disabilities in many different capacities. She started in the field at The Arc of King County in Seattle, WA, working as a Direct Support Professional and Fundraising Coordinator for 12 years. After moving back to New York, Ms. Mirisola worked at Federation of Organizations for over 7 years in various capacities. She was the Behavioral Specialist and Intake Coordinator for a 50-bed community residence on Pilgrim Psychiatric Center grounds, and a Program Supervisor for the innovative mobile residential mental health team in the community. She also maintained her own private psychotherapy practice for 5 years.
As a leader and as a therapist, Ms. Mirisola’s passion is to ensure that everyone is empowered to make their own choices, and that our clients have the highest quality of life based on their choices. Marci earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University in Seattle, WA in 2009.
