David Vizzini, MS, CASAC
David Vizzini was recently promoted to Senior Vice President, recognizing more than two decades of dedicated service and leadership at Outreach. Over the course of his 20+ year career with the agency, Dave has played an integral role in the growth and success of Outreach’s residential programs, consistently advancing quality care and operational excellence.
Most recently, Dave served as Vice President of Operations and, prior to that, as Assistant Vice President of Residential Services. In these roles, he provided strategic oversight and leadership across Outreach’s residential portfolio, helping to expand services, enhance program quality, and maintain regulatory compliance. Earlier, as Senior Director of Residential Services and Program Director of Outreach House II in Brentwood, Long Island, he led daily clinical, administrative, and site operations, championing client-centered care and continuous improvement.
Dave began his career at Outreach as a substance abuse counselor and quickly rose through the ranks, holding roles including House Manager and Clinical Coordinator. His early leadership helped shape the agency’s adolescent residential treatment services, with a focus on supporting youth and families impacted by substance use and co-occurring disorders.
He began his work in the field in 1995 at Daytop Village, serving adolescents and young adults, and has continued to share his expertise as a consultant to Samaritan/Daytop Village over the past decade. Since 2012, Dave has also served as a lecturer and student advisor at Outreach Training Institute, helping to train the next generation of substance abuse counselors.
In recognition of his early contributions, Dave was honored as the New York State CASAC-T of the Year by OASAS in 2005. He holds a Master of Science in Health and Human Services Administration from St. Joseph’s University.
