David Vizzini, MS, CASAC
David Vizzini has spent the majority of his 20+ year career with Outreach. As the Senior Director of Residential Services for the agency, and Program Director of Outreach House II in Brentwood, Long Island, he oversaw the daily operations of the residential, administration, site management and clinical aspects of the program. In that role, he ensured compliance with regulatory standards, quality assurance and improvement, as well as special projects that involve the growth and enhancement of the residential programs. In 2022, Mr. Vizzini was promoted to the role of Assistant Vice President of Residential Services, in recognition of his instrumental role in Outreach’s residential programs’ continuing growth and quality care. He was promoted again in January 2024 and now serves as the agency’s Vice President of Operations
Mr. Vizzini joined Outreach as a substance abuse counselor and, after a year, was promoted to House Manager. Eventually, he moved into the role of Clinical Coordinator, supervising the clinical staff, and assisting the Site Director on a 24-hour on-call capacity. Through his efforts, he helped develop high-quality residential treatment services for adolescents and their families affected by substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
In 1995, Mr. Vizzini began his career working with adolescents and young adults at Daytop Village. Over the past decade, he has consulted with Samaritan/Daytop Village to share his expertise on the young adult population. Since 2012, he has served as a lecturer and student advisor for Outreach Training Institute.
Mr. Vizzini was named the New York State CASAC-T of the year by OASAS in 2005. He has a Master of Science in Health and Human Service Administration from St. Joseph’s University.
