Christine Selario, LMSW, MPS
Christine Selario joined the Outreach family in August 2023, as Director of the Outreach Recovery Center’s Men’s Community Residence in Brentwood, Long Island. In this role, she oversees the daily operations, manages, and develops staff for the residence. She is tasked with tracking and monitoring service delivery and outcomes, client satisfaction, and ensuring that compliance and regulatory standards are upheld.
Christine has been a social work professional for 25 years; with over 15 years of experience in program development, management, and operations across the non-profit sector. She has a proven history of scaling programs and expanding resources by building high-performance teams and leveraging data-driven insights to secure optimal programming. Her vast experience includes, but is not limited to housing, preventive, and foster care services. In addition, Christine has extensive clinical training and direct practice as a therapist, utilizing various modalities and interventions to empower clients to become the best version of themselves.
Throughout her professional journey, Christine has been the recipient of multiple awards, including the New Business Development Award and Employee of the Year. Of all her accomplishments, she is most proud of the RFP she successfully wrote and submitted for a New York State Licensed Tier II facility.
Christine earned her Master of Social Work and her Master of Professional Studies in Human Resource Management degrees from the State University of New York-Stony Brook. She completed The Executive Education Training Program at Fordham University. She is SIFI-certified as a field instructor and has been a major contributor to many social work students. Christine also taught social work students for several years at Long Island University, C.W. Post, where she served as an Adjunct Professor. One of her favorite quotes is, “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
