Catherine Maguire, LCSW
Catherine Maguire joined the Outreach staff in 2019 as a parttime substance use counselor at Outreach House I, the agency’s residential facility for adolescents in Ridgewood, NY, where she was drawn into the world of residential services. Shortly thereafter she was brought on fulltime there as a Community Support Specialist. In 2021, Ms. Maguire was promoted to Assistant Director/Clinical Coordinator of Outreach’s Women’s Recovery Residence in Brentwood, Long Island where, in 2022, she was named the facility’s Program Director, and 2024, was named Program Director of Outreach House II, residence for adolescents.
Prior to Outreach, Ms. Maguire served as an outpatient counselor in various substance use treatment settings; she worked with adults and children at an outpatient clinic on Long Island, and later with adults in an outpatient program for the forensic and sex offender population in NYC. Ms. Maguire holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University.
