Anthony Croce, CPA
As the Chief Financial Officer for Outreach, Anthony Croce oversees all accounting, IT, property, and equipment, as well as interactions with contractors and government agencies. Self-described as the agency’s “second generation,” Croce has been providing his finance and administrative expertise to the agency for over 25 years.
Mr. Croce has worked for over 40 years in accounting and finance. While at a small accounting firm, he began amassing nonprofit experience through his client base, which at the time included Outreach. Former President and CEO Kathleen Riddle recruited him to join the agency as its new CFO in 1996. Since then, he has managed the nonprofit’s budget from a modest $5 million to its current $26 million in revenue.
In his earlier years at Outreach, Mr. Croce guided efforts to build a management information system. Through his leadership, he ensured a computer on every desk, upgraded the employee email system and brought website access across the agency. He has brought videoconferencing capabilities to the headquarters and the programs and was part of the internal team that implemented Outreach’s Electronic Health Records system.
Mr. Croce is a graduate of Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
