Building healthy lives takes vision. Co-Founder and President Emeritus Kathleen Riddle made hers a reality with a $60K grant. At the site of a former candy store in Glendale, Queens, she opened the doors to an assessment and referral center called Outreach Project.
The mission back then had one objective: To encourage local community residents to seek treatment for substance abuse. Since then, our mission has evolved to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Today Outreach inspires adolescents, adults and their families to achieve a life of unlimited potential through our high-quality, evidence-based substance abuse treatment and CASAC training programs.
With humble beginnings, Outreach began its inspired journey and, after four decades, continues to inspire.
