Jennie Sucilsky joined the Outreach team in 2006, and has held diverse and increasingly responsible positions at several of the agency’s clinical sites. In Spring 2019, Sucilsky was appointed Coordinator of Outpatient Services at the Outreach Recovery Center (ORC) in Brentwood, Long Island, and in January 2020 she was promoted to Director of Outpatient Services at Outreach in Bellport, where she oversees all clinical programs at the Long Island-based facility that serves more than 250 clients through the Adolescent, Evening Adult and Women’s Day Outpatient Programs. Throughout her tenure, Sucilsky has determinedly acted to ensure the successful development of quality services designed to meet the needs of the special populations Outreach’s unique programs serve.
While having worked for other human service organizations prior, Sucilsky has found Outreach to be her career home for over a decade, not only owing to her passion to bring high quality treatment to communities that need it most, but in providing her the opportunity for involvement in research. During her tenure with Outreach, she has worked on several Long Island-based research teams studying aspects of addiction and mental health. Most recently, in 2019, Sucilsky completed her doctoral dissertation research, “Understanding the Impact of Unregulated Housing in Suffolk County,” earning her PhD in Social Welfare from Stony Brook University.
In addition to her doctoral degree, Sucilsky holds a Master’s in Social Work from Adelphi University and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from New York University.
